Kimberly W Gallery is a collection of original paintings created by artist, Kimberly Wilhelm.  Kimberly is a painter, writer, and photographer who resides in Northwest Ohio, USA.  Her work explores the combination of reality and imagination, focusing on the limitless approaches to the mind’s perception.  Majority of Kimberly’s work portrays aspects of nature and science, putting a spotlight on characteristics of our world that are familiar, unknown, or overlooked in daily life.

 

"I always find abstract art intriguing to both view and create.  Its boundless nature gives the mind not only the ability to perceive the familiar, but also the chance to feed the imaginary.  The coexistence of reality and imagination taking up the same space is a common occurrence yet seems drastically overlooked in the routine of everyday life.  With my work, I’m hoping to ignite that visualization within your mind and challenge it to see not only references to what is known, but also what could be." - Kimberly
